The product has a natural appearance and colour characteristic of turkey meat. The meat is free from skin, bones, and tendons, with acceptable small fragments of adipose tissue.

Foreign odours, signs of microbial decomposition, mould, rancid fat odour, bone fragments, protruding broken bones, foreign bodies, and significant bloody petechiae are not acceptable.

Microbiological & Food Safety Requirements

The product complies with applicable European food safety and microbiological requirements, including Commission Regulation (EC) No. 2073/2005, as amended.

Salmonella Typhimurium and Salmonella Enteritidis: Not detected in 25 g.

Chemical requirements are controlled in accordance with applicable EU legislation concerning:

• Antibiotics
• Hormones

The product is also declared GMO-free and complies with applicable EU GMO regulations.

Storage & Transportation

For fresh product handling and transportation, the recommended temperature is -2°C to +4°C. Transportation is carried out using food-grade refrigerated vehicles designed to protect the product from temperature increases above +4°C.

A temporary temperature increase of up to 3°C may be permitted during handling and loading operations.

The transport vehicle must be clean, free from foreign odours, and maintained at a temperature suitable for the product. The product must be properly secured to prevent movement or packaging damage during transportation.
